Examine cement before using. If jellied, discard. Do not use primer/cleaner to thin out cement.

Square cut pipe and remove all dirt and burrs.

Check dry fit of pipe and fitting. Pipe should easily go into fitting 1/4 of the way.

Clean and prime pipe with Black Swan's ALL PURPOSE PRIMER/CLEANER. (Note: Do not use primer/cleaner when working with ABS systems.)

Apply thin coat of cement to fitting; avoid puddling inside.

Apply liberal coat of cement to pipe; leave no void areas. Enough cement must be used to completely fill any gaps in joint.

Assemble quickly while cement is still wet.

Push pipe into fitting using a 1/4 turning motion until pipe bottoms out.

Hold pipe and fitting together for 30 seconds; wipe off excess on collar.

Allow 15 minutes for good handling strength.

Allow joint 24 to 48 hours before applying pressure.

Stir frequently while using.

For 1/4 pint and 1/2 pint cans do not use applicator in can if pipe diameter exceed 1-1/4". For pint and quart cans do not use
applicator if pipe diameter exceeds 3".
Proper size of applicator should be 1/2 diameter of pipe.

Pressure test often so as to eliminate possible large failures.

Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
