LIQUID BOILER STOP-LEAK

DESCRIPTION

A superior liquid product designed to make lasting repairs on steam and hot water boilers.  This product works on high and low pressure heating systems and withstands high temperatures, high pressure, expansion, contraction and vibration.  Will not interfere with the operation of the system and the system will not have to be shut down to use the product.

HOW IT WORKS

Boilers sometimes have leaks.  The reasons range from cracks, imperfect pipe threads, rust, defective castings, etc.  LIQUID BOILER STOP-LEAK is a "sticky" liquid combined with heavy duty particles.  LIQUID BOILER STOP-LEAK when poured into a leaking boiler flows directly to the leak and the particles plug up the opening and stick to it.  Over a period of time these particles will become very hard and form a permanent seal.

               DIRECTIONS

1. Boiler must be hot.  LIQUID BOILER STOP-LEAK will not work in a cold boiler.
2. The higher the quantity of LIQUID BOILER STOP-LEAK used and the higher the temperature, the quicker the leaks will be stopped. 
3. Use only in heating systems.  Not for use on domestic hot water storage tanks. 

FOR LOW PRESSURE BOILERS (including one or two pipe steam, vapor or vacuum systems)

Heat water and let pressure down.  Pour LIQUID BOILER STOP-LEAK through most convenient opening.  Raise and maintain operating pressure for 24 - 48 hours after leaks are stopped. 

FOR HIGH PRESSURE BOILERS

Heat water and maintain working pressure.  Pour LIQUID BOILER STOP-LEAK through most convenient opening.  Continue to heat water until leaks have stopped.  Maintain operating pressure for 24 to 48 hours to permit formation of bonds that will withstand high pressure. 

FOR NEW INSTALLATION

Partly fill boiler and bring to normal operating temperature.  Pour LIQUID BOILER STOP-LEAK through most convenient opening.   Close opening and fill system gradually.  Maintain heat until all leaks have stopped.

CAUTION

Contains alkaline salts of silicic acid.  Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.  Do not take internally.  In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water and wash with vinegar.  For eyes - flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention. Keep out of reach of children.
