LIQUID ROOF COATING

DESCRIPTION

A heavy bodied, paint like consistency roof coating. Designed for the preservation and protection of all types of composition, gravel, built-up, smooth and slate surfaced roofs, as well as metal and aluminum roofing. It may also be used to protect wood, metal and concrete surfaces that are in contact with the ground. This product is asbestos free, will not run or sag, will not be effected by moisture and penetrates and re-saturates dried out and exposed roofing felts.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Sweep off all dirt and debris. If gravel roof, remove all loose gravel. Remove crusted rust or scaled previous coating. Repair small cracks, breaks and open seams by applying Black Swan’s ROOF-POOF prior to coating.

APPLICATION

Roofs: For coating the entire roof, apply a heavy coat with spreader, roof brush or mastic type spray gun using at least 1-1/2 gallons to the square (100 sq. ft.) on metal roofs, 3 gallons on paper, composition or concrete. Coverage depends on the absorption of the surface. It will average approximately 50 square feet per gallon. In cold weather this coating will thicken. Keep in a heated room until ready to use.

CLEAN-UP

Clean tools with kerosene or mineral spirits.

PRECAUTIONS

Protective clothing and eye wear should be used during application of these products. When transporting this product, ensure that lid is tight and pail secure and upright. Do not allow pail to tumble as this may cause the lid to loosen and leakage to occur. Do not store at temperature above 120°F. This manufacturer also disclaims liability for flat surface application where poor drainage or moisture may prevail. Do not reuse empty containers.

CAUTION

Contains petroleum distillates. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Use only with adequate ventilation. Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin and breathing of vapor. If swallowed do not induce vomiting. Call physician immediately. Seal container when not in use. Keep out of reach of children.
