PIPE JOINT COMPOUND

DESCRIPTION

A smooth, grit-free, gray colored pipe joint compound. It seals threaded joints tight and will not crack or crumble. Disassembly months or years later is easy. Contains no lead and is safe for all water systems.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Temperature range use - gases & liquid: -15° F (-26° C) TO +400°F (+204° C)

Pressure range use - Gases: up to 1,000 PSI      Liquids: up to 2,000 PSI

Brushable to:   -15° F (-26° C)

Sets up to - soft-set, non hardening

Contents - non-toxic inert oils and carbonate. Contains no lead or silicone.

APPLICATIONS

Black Swan PIPE JOINT COMPOUND is recommended for use on all types of metal connections. Not recommended for use on plastic. Black Swan PIPE JOINT COMPOUND can be used on lines carrying air, water, steam, natural gas, amonia, brine, dilute acids and alkalies. Not recommended for lines carrying oxygen.

DIRECTIONS

1. Make sure threads are made with a good die.
   
2. Clean surface to which compound is to be applied of dirt, oil, moisture, etc.
   
3. Apply compound to male threads with brush or applicator. Brush well into threads to ensure leak-free joints.
   
4. Assemble joints in usual manner.

CAUTION

Keep out of reach children and pets. Do not allow to be taken internally. If swallowed seek immediate medical attention. Do not induce vomiting.
