Tub and Tile Caulk   

DESCRIPTION

This is a premium quality, siliconized acrylic latex caulk. It has outstanding properties like adhesion, out-door weathering, minimum shrinkage, long tooling time and much more. Its acrylic base offers not only outstanding adhesion but also resistance to oxidation and ultra-violet rays. The siliconized feature improves the adhesion to ceramic and glass substrates. It provides a waterproof & weatherproof seal without the use of a primer. It can be painted with latex or oil-based paints.

USES

Its primerless adhesion characteristics offer excellent adhesion to aluminum, wood, concrete, brick, glass, ceramic tiles, etc. It can be used for interior or exterior application since it is virtually odor free and it offers superior weatherability. It can be used in areas with high moisture since it is mildew resistant and waterproof.

LIMITATIONS

This product can not be used for joints immersed in water or for joints subjected to high abrasion below 40° F. This product should be protected from freezing. Do not expose to water or rain for at least 24 hours.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Surface must be clean and free of dust, oil and other foreign substances.
  2. Cut nozzle on cartridge or tip on tube to desired bead size of 1/4" to 3/8".
  3. Apply at temperatures above 40° F. For best results remove all old caulking before applying TUB & TILE CAULK.
  4. Tool within 30 minutes with wet fingers or damp smooth sponge.
  5. It can be painted over after 2 hours with oil or latex based paints.
  6. Excess caulk and tools can be cleaned easily with soap and water.

STORAGE

Protect from freezing. Store in cool dry place at room temperature.
