CLOSET BOLTS – BRASS Plated

Description

A steel bolt plated with either a brass coating or a Zinc/Yellow coating. Bolts are sold in six different sizes. For each size bolt there are five different ways to purchase:

 

1. Bulk - bolts, open-end nuts and washers packaged in bulk.
2. Bag - 2 bolts, 2 open-end nuts and 2 round washers.
3. Bag - 2 bolts, 2 open-end nuts, 2 round washers and 2 plastic stand-up washers. 
4. Bag-2 bolts, 4 open-end nuts and 4 round washers.
5. Bulk - closet bolts only packaged in bulk.

DIRECTIONS

1. Place bolt into position on flange with threaded portion up.
2. Apply BLACK SWAN PUTTY and BLACK SWAN WAX RING to base of toilet bowl.  Then, set the toilet down carefully over bolts so threaded portion of bolts correspond with holes in base of bowl.
3. Place loose washer on bolts and then apply hex nuts firmly, but not so tight as to crack edge of bowl base. 
4. Cut any remaining threaded portion of bolts above nuts.  If desired, decorator cap can then be placed over bolt and nuts.
