PIPE WRAP PRIMER

A quick drying, rubber based primer.  Used on underground gas pipe to fill voids and to prepare the pipe for pipe wrap tape.  The adhesion of the pipe wrap tape will be greatly improved by using the Pipe Wrap Primer in advance. 

DIRECTIONS

1.  Stir Pipe Wrap Primer until uniform.

2.  Clean surface pipe of dirt and debris.

3.  Apply the primer evenly over the surface of the pipe.

4.  Allow primer to dry before applying pipe wrap tape.  Dry time depends on weather
conditions, but usually takes 3 to 5 minutes.

CAUTION

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.  Do not take internally.  Keep away from heat, spark, open flame, other sources of ignition.  Vapors may ignite explosively.  Use only in well ventilated area; if not well ventilated, use forced ventilation or NIOSH approved respirators.  Avoid breathing vapors.  Avoid contact with skin and eyes.  Use skin and eye protection.  Eye contact may cause injury.  Keep container closed.

FIRST AID

If inhaled, move into fresh air.  If not breathing, give artificial respiration.  If breathing is difficult, give oxygen and call physician.  In case of eye or skin contact, flush with water for 15 minutes.  If irritation persists, get medical attention.  If swallowed, give 2 glasses of water.
