Tuffy String

DESCRIPTION

Black Swan's Tuffy String is a round, cord form, flexible gasketing material made from pure 100% PTFE. It is used for valve stem packing and flange gasketing applications. Black Swan Tuffy String is highly conformable, will not seize, has excellent chemical resistance and operates from temperatures from -400° F to +600° F. Not intended for food contact applications.

DIRECTIONS

1. Clean area completely where Black Swan Tuffy String is to be applied.
2. Wind Black Swan Tuffy String around stems, bolts, fittings, etc. Apply enough material to make a positive seal.
