Gel Hand Sanitizer - Alcohol

DESCRIPTION

This product is a gel-based hand sanitizer that contains 70% alcohol. Hand sanitizers help reduce bacteria that can cause disease. This product works in as quickly as 30 seconds. This formula follows the World Health Organization’s recommendations.


HANDWASHING VERSUS HAND SANITIZERS

Handwashing is the best way to have “Superior Hand Hygiene”. Using soap and water physically removes microorganisms from the skin. But, many times, soap and water are not available. These are the times that hand sanitizers come into play. Using a hand sanitizer does not wash the microorganisms away, it chemically kills the microorganisms.


INGREDIENTS

Denatured Ethanol (Ethyl Alcohol) (CAS# 64-17-5)

Hydrogen Peroxide (CAS# 7722-84-1)

Glycerin USP (CAS# 56-81-5)

Purified Water


DIRECTIONS

  1. Place enough product on hands to cover all surfaces. Rub hands together until dry.
  2. Supervise children under 6 years of age when using this product to avoid swallowing.

PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS:
  • Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and hot surfaces – No smoking.
  • Ground or bond container and receiving equipment.
  • Use personal protective equipment as required.

FIRST AID:

Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. Seek medical attention if irritation continues. Skin: Rinse skin with soap and water/shower. Get medical attention if irritation continues. Eyes: Flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do so, continue rinsing. Get medical attention if irritation persists. Ingestion: Seek medical attention.


STORAGE:

Store in well ventilated space. Maintain storage temperature below 30°C. Avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents. Store large quantities only in buildings designed to comply with OSHA 1910.106. Store containers out of sunlight and away from heat. Pressure can build up in heat space of container if exposed to excessive heat.


DISPOSAL:

Dispose of product or container in accordance with federal, state, or local regulations. Product may be disposed of as a flammable liquid. US EPA Waste Code(s): D001.
