Gel Hand Sanitizer - Non-Alcohol
DESCRIPTION
This product is a gel-based hand sanitizer that contains .1% active Benzalkonium Chloride. Hand sanitizers helps reduce bacteria that can cause disease. Chloride is an ingredient approved by the Food and Drug Administration to be used in hand sanitizer products. This formulation is non-flammable, alcohol-free and contains skin friendly moisturizing and conditioning ingredients to leave hands feeling soft and refreshed.
HANDWASHING VERSUS HAND SANITIZERS
Handwashing is the best way to have “Superior Hand Hygiene”. Using soap and water physically removes microorganisms from the skin. But, many times, soap and water are not available. These are the times that hand sanitizers come into play. Using a hand sanitizer does not wash the microorganisms away, it chemically kills the microorganisms.
ALCOHOL VERSUS NON-ALCOHOL HAND SANITIZERS
Both Alcohol and Benzalkonium Chloride hand sanitizers are approved by the Food and Drug Administration. The Benzalkonium Chloride hand sanitizers have the following advantages over the Alcohol based products:

- Less drying to the skin.
- Will not stain clothing.
- Alcohol based hand sanitizers become less effective over time due to the nature of alcohol.

Lactic Acid (CAS# 50-21-5/79-33-4)
Glycerin (CAS# 56-81-5)
DIRECTIONS
- Place enough product on hands to cover all surfaces. Rub hands together until dry.
- Supervise children under 6 years of age when using this product to avoid swallowing.
