HANDWASHING VERSUS HAND SANITIZERS
Handwashing is the best way to have “Superior Hand Hygiene”. Using soap and water physically removes microorganisms from the skin. But, many times, soap and water are not available. These are the times that hand sanitizers come into play. Using a hand sanitizer does not wash the microorganisms away, it chemically kills the microorganisms.
